"What I do know, is that this group will make idiotic decisions and get us all killed, so our priority is finding out who the invincible one is. Once upon a time, today would have been celebrated as an Easter Sunday, but that is not what humanity does anymore. We no longer hold holidays or celebrations, as those were part of the old world. It has long since cooled from the impact, aided by my wordsmithing, though now it's nothing but a scorched rock. The atmosphere is almost entirely gone. My feet feel a crunching sensation as I walk across the barren planet, with Sensei and Amelia behind me. We can't hear the sound our boots make though, given there's nothing to transfer the sound in the near-vacuum of space. Amelia, interestingly, is wearing a hypersuit now. She wanted to come along, not that I could blame her. She loved this planet, as did I. Truth be told, I might be lying to myself about that little fact. If I loved the planet so much, why did I live aboard the Mothership? Maybe I knew Earth was going to be destroyed. Maybe I wanted it gone. I don't know, but the fact is that what's done is done. Sensei breathes slowly inside his hypersuit, as the audio transmitters between the three of us allow us to speak to one another. "Any sign of it. Still looking. I curse Locate's fallibility in this instance. Locate isn't useful when the inanimate object we're looking for is buried under perhaps thousands of tons of rocks and debris. The Moon crashed directly onto this area, after all. Even the crown, which once helped me locate several powerful artifacts in the Labyrinth, is of no use here. Perhaps Arthur used his magic to hide the damn thing so we couldn't find it. "Are we even in the right spot? Everything looks the same. Amelia groans as we walk around. No mountains are visible, the ground is scorched black as far as the eye can see, and the only thing that stands out are plumes of lava that shoot up into the sky, many miles away. "Harold says he did a calculation based on the planet's orbital cycle, our approximate location compared to the Equator, and several other things I didn't understand. Arthur's blast came from around this area somewhere. We may have to dig to find Excalibur. Oh sure, let me just grab a friggin' shovel. Sensei grumbles under his breath, but we all hear him anyway, thanks to Centurion. "I could try and wordsmith it out of the ground, but I'm not sure how to do that when Locate isn't telling me exactly where it is. Even my spherical vision can't penetrate this much rock and dirt. Amelia comes to a stop and turns around to look at me. "Jason, listen. I know that guy was your friend or whatever, but it's just a sword. You can make one that looks just like it. I nod slowly but lower my head. "Yeah, I can, but I can't replicate its magical properties. The sword itself is possibly the strongest magic weapon in the universe. In Arthur's hands though. his control over energy made it unstoppable. You saw what he did to Refuge. Amelia shrugs and turns back to walking. Frankly, I find it weird that she doesn't remember Arthur at all. She once told me that Leviathan degrades her memory over time, but this is ridiculous. He's also confirmed to me that while she suffers deleterious memory degredation, he does not. And if he doesn't, then why hasn't he reminded her of who Arthur is? Maybe Leviathan just doesn't care. He told me once that the power of Wordsmithing was nothing compared to his own abilities. Seems like a cocky statement to me, but what the hell do I know? Amelia finally sits down on a small boulder barely sticking out of the grounds and moans loudly. "We've been out here for hours! This is pointless! We're never going to find it! I'm bored. Sensei tilts his head away and chuckles, but I ignore him. "Just a bit longer. We need to find that sword. Amelia leans back on the rock and stretches for a solid three seconds before standing back up again. "All right, but I'm going back to the ship. I wanna take a nap. And this boulder, we haven't really encountered any whole rocks up to this point. That seems rather suspect. All three of us look at each other for a moment before quickly stepping back. I aim my innate telekinesis at the rock and lift it up, ripping it from the ground and moving it a few feet away to the side. Amelia walks up to the small crater and gawks at it. "Holy moly! There's a narrow hole that goes way down. I walk up to it and stare in disbelief. "This hole isn't natural. Someone must have dug it themselves. It's a small hole, probably big enough for a small child to fall into if they weren't being careful, but too small for even Amelia to fit into. However. Shrink. I utter a single word and feel my body and the hypersuit decrease in size until I'm about a quarter of my usual height. "I'm going to jump in. Sensei nods at me but raises his palm up. "Wait, it's going to be pitch black in there. You'll want to make sure you can see around you. It's then that I remember Sensei's body is always glowing. He never turns his glow off and usually wears a hypersuit to hide it, but I've seen him a few times without the suit. I'm not quite that scared of whatever hit him though. "You're right. Illuminate. I decide to make my armor itself glow as I look way up at the mountain of a man that I call my clone. "I'll be right back. Walking over, I stare down into the hole and feel slightly anxious. It's not that I'm claustrophobic or scared of the dark, but I get the heebie jeebies when I think of big spiders or something being down in there. It's stupid, because those don't exist, and they couldn't have survived the Moon's impact, but the human mind can be irrational. Also, I'm totally not scared of spiders. Definitely not. I hop down into the hole and feel a wave of panic as more than a second passes, then two seconds. My speed is increasing, and the drop is way further than I expected. Four seconds. Five. Six. It takes almost ten seconds before I feel my insect brain scream in terror as the ground rushes at me. Wham! I smash into the ground with a heart-wrenching impact, though I'm perfectly fine thanks to the Hypersuit. When I raise my head, I can't see the sky outside at all. It's pitch black. "I'm in. I speak into my mic, but only get crackling in response. I guess even advanced technology will have a hell of a time piercing that much dirt and rock. "Centurion, how far below the surface are we. The AI doesn't even hesitate. "ROUGHLY 1, 300 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE, OR ONE QUARTER OF A MILE. Great, at least I'm not totally alone down here. I still have my artificial friend, and he's such a conversational fellow. A quick glance around surprises me. My armor illuminates quite a large half-spherical cavern, one that is totally flat underneath me, and almost perfectly circular above. In fact. this isn't 'almost' perfectly circular, it is perfectly circular. I take a few step forwards as I'm looking around and feel my foot kick something. When I look down, I feel a rush of emotion overcome me. Arthur's body. it's right here, just in front of me. I didn't see him when I landed, but his body is in fairly good condition, as if the vacuum here and the lack of insects and critters preserved him. His skin is still starting to degrade but. he's in. relatively good condition. He's dead though. Absolutely, totally dead. He's gone. There isn't a chance I can bring him back. I kneel down and touch his shoulder. "Arthur. I know you can't hear me but. I'm glad you found peace at last. Just a few words. That's all I can do. I ponder for a moment if I should take his body somewhere and bury him, but I guess this is the closest thing to a tomb he'll be able to get anyway, and he's buried on the planet he died trying to save. It's fitting in a way. His body must have survived the Moon's impact thanks to that aura he told me about. He really was a tough son of a bitch. After dwelling on what to do with his body, my heart suddenly turns frigid as I take a step back in shock. Excalibur is gone. Someone has taken it. Who? Who would do that? How would they know about it? I know why they would, after all. If they knew about Excalibur, then they would know about its power. If Satan could overcome its demon-slaying properties, then in his hands it would be a fearsome weapon. Could Satan survive in the vacuum present on Earth? I find that hard to fathom. Satan may be a demon, but even he needs air to breathe. Heh, actually, that's an interesting thought. If I do end up fighting him, that might prove useful to remember. No! Wait! Stay focused! Someone took Excalibur, but who? Who would do such a thing? I don't know. There's too many possibilities. Whoever it was, they'd need the technology to survive in a total vacuum. Shit, that might even make the Volgrim a possibility, or someone among humanity. I'll have to worry about it later. For now. Return. I teleport back up to the surface and the other two jerk back in surprise. Sensei is first to speak. "Did you find Excalibur. I found Arthur. Excalibur wasn't with him. Sensei stares at me, though I can't see his expression inside the Hypersuit. "Someone took it, then. It wasn't a question. Both of us share a thoughtful nod. "We need to find out who. The last thing we want is a surprise on our hands, especially at an inopportune moment. Amelia shakes her head. "Maybe one of your clones took it? Did you ask anyone before you left. I shoot a glance at Sensei, but quickly wave the thought off. "Unlikely. I kept Arthur a secret from everyone. Even Sensei and you didn't know until Arthur blasted the Moon. The number of people who even knew of his existence were small, though if one person knew, they could have leaked the knowledge to someone else. but. then again. A thought disturbs me. Locate. I mentally aim my mind at Arthur's body, and am able to sense him immediately. I aim my mind at Excalibur, but find nothing. Sensei realizes what I'm doing. "Excalibur is totally gone, isn't it. Tl;dr. Idiot DLed a music torrent which contained an encrypted file supposedly of an image/video of child porn. Cousin maintains he didn't/couldn't open the file, didn't know what was inside. Taskforce was monitoring the torrent, tracked IP address to cousin's house - Cops had warrant & searched cousin's PC, supposedly found the offending file but could not open it. Cops confiscate the PC so their techs could try to open the file. Two years go by, no arrest, no follow up searches, etc. Cops come out of the blue to arrest cousin for ONE COUNT possession of child pornography - Do not have search warrant to look for possible additional material - Cousin sits in jail for a month, no idea what's going on. Bond hearing is an unorganized shitshow - missing file, wrong charges, etc. Atty doesn't meet with him, attempts to strongarm the family into paying more money to actually get cousin out on bond. Gets out on bond w/home confinement and ankle monitoring @ 300/mo - Hired a Public Defender instead. Shows up to court date today, gets pushed back to another date, TBA. State only has until Aug 29th to indict - It's now been 3+ months since arrest and no visit/call with an atty/public defender, no idea what's happening with his case, no idea what cops supposedly found on his PC, etc. WTF does my family do? They feel helpless and confused, can't afford another attorney, feel like they're just getting the run around, and don't have anyone fighting for them. This is the state of GA, btw. Longer version: My cousin pirated some music that included a separate password protected/encrypted file. The music tracks he wanted were easily accessible in the main folder, so he just ignored whatever was in the locked file. A short time later, several officers literally kicked down the door to his family's home with a warrant to look through all internet-enabled devices in their house. A detective checked every device, found the zip file containing the protected file on my cousin's PC, said BINGO, and tried to open it. She couldn't get it open, so they confiscated the whole computer so they could have one of their techs try to crack the file. They said "they were tracking that file" and because doofus didn't use a VPN, they located my cousin through his IP address. A year goes by, and they get a letter from the PD saying nothing could be found at this time. My cousin doesn't push to get his PC back because he still illegally downloaded music and didn't want to remind the PD that a crime still technically had been committed. He got a relative's old PC and just used that instead. A year+ later - now 2+ YEARS after the cops showed up & took his PC - cops show up in the middle of the night and arrest my cousin on 1 count of possession of child pornography. They did not have another warrant & did not even enter the house, just arrested my cousin. He sat in jail for a month, during which time no one elaborated on his charges or anything. His family put up like 7k for an atty who supposedly specializes in these cases. The atty met with my cousin ONCE, for like 30 seconds to have him sign away his right to be present for his bond hearing. The date of his bond hearing, his parents go to court with the atty. They sit all day, and the judge is about to adjorn for the day - they didn't even call my cousin's case. The atty tells the judge they missed his client. The judge gets my cousin's file and starts reading the charges, but it's immediately apparent they had the right name but wrong file. My cousin's record is spotless (aside from this possession charge) and the record being rattled off is for drugs, weapons, etc. My cousin's mother nearly fainted in court. The atty tells the judge that's the wrong record, and he is pissed and wants the right one tracked down. They get it, judge reads the 1 count and wants to deny bail. The atty argues that my cousin has a clean record, and the judge changes it to 100k with ankle monitor, no electronics, etc. Atty argues my cousin isn't a flight risk, but judge isn't having it. He knocks the bail down some more, but that's it. All internet-enabled devices in the house have to go to the sherriff or something. This was curious, as the two defendants right before my cousin were both repeat offenders for stolen vehicles, weapons, AND drugs - both given bail at 20k - 30k. No monitoring, etc. Anyways, there's a delay getting my cousin's bond signed by the judge. The atty said he had "a hard time tracking him down" but got it done. My family goes to drop off their electronics to fulfill the bond requirements, but the bond isn't in the system. Family calls the atty at the station, turns out the atty didn't submit it to the judge for signing. His secretary tells them my cousin is no longer a client. If they want him to continue to represent my cousin, they need to pony up a 25k retainer, because the 7k they paid was just for the bond hearing. An officer at the station overhears my family's half of the conversation and gets on the phone and tells the secretary that part of the bond process is having it signed and they cannot extort money from my family to get the atty to complete his duties. Miracuously, a few minutes later the bond is emailed to the judge and signed. Cousin gets out, has a 300/mo ankle monitor, confined to his home. Family can't afford another atty, gets a public defender. They call him several times a week, but he has yet to meet with my cousin or speak with him about his case. He had court today, where the judge basically said we'll reschedule and inform you of the new date in the mail. The prosecutor said nothing. All we know is that the state is running out of time to indict - Aug 29th. The public defender finally knows what my cousin looks like, at least. Though they still haven't talked about his case. Are there any resources he can turn to? I feel like 3+ months without talking to anyone about his case is ridiculous, especially considering the seriousness of the charge against him. Furthermore, WHY only ONE count - wouldn't they want to go back to see if they could dig up any additional dirt on a guy being charged with such a sick crime? You know, really put a nail in his coffin, so to speak? Thanks for any insights or resources you can provide. Edit 7/8/19: We KNOW things don't really add up, that's why I'm asking for insight and organizations to help because the whole thing stinks of BS. Every bit of info I have provided is something I can personally attest to or was shared with me by other people present at the time. Obviously my cousin's version of events is "I'm innocent. so I wanted to make sure the story I was given was factual according to my own account and the accounts of others present in the courtroom or at the time of his arrest, etc instead of focusing on his version of events. As such, I haven't even spoken to him since his arrest. I am a parent myself and he has spent countless hours with my kids. If he is a pervert like the cops claim, I would not want him anywhere near mine or anyone else's kids. Because of this, I have spent a lot of time racking my brain and doing soul-searching over this. I do not think he's guilty. I do not think his family is altering the story to make him sound innocent, they know he's around his nieces and nephews a lot and while they love him, they wouldn't be so adamant to keep a sexual deviant out of jail. These are the people who support violent ends for criminals who prey on children. I'm sure it's different when someone you love is the alleged dangerous person, but they wouldn't be fighting for his freedom if they thought for one second he likes little kids, especially when little kids they also love are (well, were) around him all the time. His story since the day the cops came with the search warrant is the same one he was telling ppl 2 years later. If he were guilty, he'd know this case was a ticking time bomb and the stress and pressure would modify his behavior at least somewhat. He could run, he could go on the offensive, he could have done any number of things, but he didn't. What we know, because the police told us (aka NOT retold by my cousin - this was direct from an officer of the law to multiple witnesses) They* was tracking a file uploaded to the internet that allegedly contained an image or a video of a child in a sexual situation. Supposedly one of the IP addresses caught downloading the file was traced to home of my cousin. *We do not know what organization the "They" are from. It could have been local or national, part of a sex sting, etc. None of that information has been provided to my cousin or to his family.

I absolutely love this song! Period. This is a hard film to review as it is both entrancing and mesmerising in its use of music and visuals but it ultimately disappoints and becomes another artsy fartsy vanity project and disappears up its own hosepipe!

The whole film evokes a Peyote/Acid trip quite well in its use of aural and visual effects and even the inexplicable acting throws the viewer into trance mode but it ultimately goes nowhere, says nothing much and leaves the viewer cold as ice. A comment on the lives of women in small town America?
I have seen a few films written and directed by women recently and if this is the standard that the #metoo movement aspire to then I think they should leave it to the men to write and direct after seeing the also lamentable Captain Marvel as this one has not got a clue how to make a movie either.

Title says it all, sole provider for family, all credit cards maxed, negative bank balance, upcoming missed payments until my next check, basically destitute for the foreseeable future. My wife and I usually decorate on Black Friday, but this year I don't want to. The thought of putting up our fake tree knowing I'll have nothing to put under it fills me with such a mix of shame, anger, and pain. I would prefer to just let December pass and cut out as many things as I can until I can get my finances under control. Plus, my daughter is 2. She won't know, care, or even remember one missed Christmas. So, AITA? I'm already a failure as a husband and father, so what say you here? THIS HAS SPUN OUT OF CONTROL! I never thought my sad man pity party would get this kind of response. I was expecting to be called an asshole, validate my self loathing, and claw my way out of debt by working harder. I did not expect the absolute torrent of love and support that I in no way deserve or can accept. INFO (And I am so sorry for not making this crystal clear in the original post) Our mortgage and utilities are paid. There is food in our fridge and my next paycheck(s) is secure, even though it, too, will all go to bills with none left over for gifts. I pretended not to notice that we weren't keeping up our pre-child lifestyle without credit cards and I got in over my head and now have to dig myself out of a relatively deep hole meaning I won't have money for gifts and meals out and holiday gatherings and whatnot for a good bit of time to come. But, I have a great job and an outstanding family support system who all live close by and know what debt feels like and will understand if we can't chip in this year with anything but our presence, but it just felt shameful to have the advantages I have and still manage to fuck it up as bad as I did without asking for help. As for all the people begging me to accept help, here is why I can't: I make a good salary. There is no chance of me or my family going hungry. We have food and will have money for food budgeted into my paychecks, which are secure as my job is secure. Update for INFO, and I hope this answers all the questions people had, as there were many, and so I'm just going to write a bio that answers them all: I live in the Mid-Atlantic United States. When we got pregnant (after 6 years of trying and failing and treatments and tears) we found out that it would cost us 50 a month for my wife to work her current job and put our daughter in full time daycare, as day care costs upwards of 1600 a month for even local co-ops, to say nothing of the 2100+ that most daycare companies were asking. The solution was for her to "retire" and take up the even harder job of full time mother. I work 8-5 at a day job and I pick up shifts DJing at a local bar at night and DJ private events/weddings/etc. when I can book them. My daughter was about to turn 2, and be able to start 3 day a week "preschool" for far less than the cost of 5 day a week daycare, meaning my wife could work again, at least part time. I was in the referral process to find a surgeon to do my vasectomy when we found out that despite using birth control, my wife was pregnant again. We're due in February, a little boy this time. Utter shock, disbelief, some truly unhealthy thoughts, and finally acceptance that I was going to have to continue to be the full time provider, as there was no way we could put 2 kids in full time care, so once again, my sainted wife will have to spend at least another 2 years as a full time mom. My wife and I are old people(42M, 40F) who tried to have kids earlier in life, but couldn't despite multiple treatments, and only succeeded when we stopped trying so hard and resigned ourselves to the thoughts of a comfortable dual income no kids lifestyle full of travel and memories, Bringing one life into this world at 40 after everything we went through was a laugh, only for life to turn around and "bless" me with a second child. My wife is overjoyed, and I am happy but terrified of how I will afford this. She applied for part time seasonal work to help with our bills, but the job she was hired for has given her exactly 2 shifts in 2 weeks, and taken one of those shifts away at the last minute due to overstaffing. She has a meeting with them today to find out if it's worth her time to stay employed there, dependent on if they can actually give her at the least 20 hours a week which she requested upon applying. We have had joint finances since we were engaged. We don't hide things from each other, we're both well aware of our money issues and have been working on ways to improve our financial situation. They deserve to feel the warmth of a festive home, and we already own the damn thing, so it's literally the least I can do. My presents will be the 1 million pictures my wife will take of our daughter pulling all the ornaments she can reach off the tree and showing them to her with that beautiful smile she has. Our families are close by, and our parents will no doubt do their best to spoil our daughter and I know it will be more than enough. UPDATE! Wife and I downloaded a budget app and are working with a family member who does financial planning. I, personally, spoke with someone (a professional) early this morning and in just the initial phone call she helped me realize that I was equating being able to give gifts with showing love to my family. Not being able to afford baubles isn't going to mean I love them less, and I will need to accept that and I will continue to work with her as long as my insurance will allow. Thanks to close friends with growing kids, we have an embarrassment of clothes and toys to sort through, and wrapping some of these items for my little girl to tear into is more than good enough for my wife and I. But, I meant what I said when I asked you to please point your humongous hearts to your local charities. I have more than enough "things" and taking things from strangers to compensate for my poor spending habits feels wrong. It will be a tough few months, but I have a good job with opportunities to grow and am going to work with professionals to learn some much needed budget control, and work with a therapist to learn to accept help from family and friends when the new baby arrives and to be less hard on myself. I am also going to spend more time with my local food bank, I signed up to help build meal kits this week to be distributed for Christmas in my community. KGF Chapter 2 On Technical front:  The captain of KGF mines, Prashant Neel, the Director should take a bow for bringing his vision on screen. Editing is very sharp, multiple scenes are played parallel and also intellectually blurred at few places to showcase that the character had no idea about the things to come. Ravi Basrur's music is a downer, but his BGM raises the milieu in all the sequences. The cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda is top-notch and world-class (he will get all the awards if nominated functions PAN India level in 2019. The never say die attitude of Art Director Shivakumar should get all the accolades for erecting such massive sets of mines, in the midst of the dust bowls. KGF has used 90% of sets and just 10% of VFX for filming.  KGF- Chapter 1  sets the stage for a macro-level showdown in  chapter 2. I did not have high expectations. But this movie turned out to be great. It's a story narrated over continuously overlapping action visuals. I should say that the direction, camerawork, and editing is excellent. It is on par with  300 and Sin City. The whole direction and medium used to narrate the story is superb and flows smoothly. Usually, I get headaches in  action movies, but this was well integrated without overpowering you. Its a must watch in a theater. The visuals on a big screen are great. If you understand the original language - Kannada, you will enjoy the literary dialogue better, but subtitles are fair enough. When I first encountered the trailer I started comparing it with  Gangs of Wasseypur.  The reason was there it was story started with coal mines and here  Gold mines  were mentioned. After watching the movie, however, I got to know  K. G. F. 2 to be a kind of different movie. A movie based on a hero (or a villain. The story is a classic portrayal of waging wars against their oppressors. Few scenes made me draw comparisons to Aayirathil Oruvan & Mad Max Fury Road. The  BGM  along with the freeze-frame action sequences worked out well.  The elevations given for Yash's character is a lot, more than what we saw  Jr. NTR  gets in the Telugu movie  Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava, yet seems this one is plausible as it's a period drama. One big dude is the lead actress whose character was not at all needed & had no logical place in the entire flick. Maybe she was a key role in Chapter 2, we're unaware at this point. The cliffhanger ending is given, making it open for  Chapter 2,  but with all here in the first installment, what I liked most was the mother-child take on the relation between them. It shook's your emotions on more than one instance. I also liked Rocky's character may it be as a child or as an adult. The other thing that followed my liking was the story, the way how it avoided being goofy. Ultimate in all department like direction, storyline, acting. Shreenidhi looks fresh but very little role to offer. The kid who acted as junior rocky is fantastic. There is a long list of new villains who all perform well and are presented effectively, special mention to guy who played Garuda character. Anant Nag as a narrator is adept. Should say the entire casting is perfect.  All technical departments have done their part with finesse to enhance the movie to another level. Cinematography by Bhuvan, artwork by Shivu, BGM by Ravi Basrur and costume designing is exceptional. The sets are huge and CG extensions look very realistic and of great quality. Brilliant color grading gives that extra feel to connect to the period and geography. Editing in certain fight scenes was a little cluttered but overall good.  Though the movie has its minor flaws in some places it is nullified by the fast pace and engaging storytelling.  Overall a fabulous movie to be watched only in theatres. Options available in.  KGF 2 Movie Public Reactions  If you havent already watched KGF 2, go and watch it! Its a must-watch, one of the best (if not The Best) Indian movies made in 2018. Being South Indian movie fanatics, we have watched quite a few movies starring Yash. Those are good, but this KGF must be Yashs grandest movie so far and a career-defining one.  If you prefer a colorful cheery feel-good movie, maybe this movie is not for you.  This Kannada movie (we watched the Hindi version) is quite dark (dark color tone and even darker storyline) full of raw violent action sequences (cant remember when did we last see something like this in an Indian cinema.   But everything is done so perfectly, that it resulted in an unforgettable movie experience.  Unlike most of the recent high  budget star cast movies, this movies backbone isnt any superstar, rather the solid  storyline.  From the beginning to the last scene, the story will captivate you, keep you on the edge of your seats, and make you wonder whats next!  The way this story, introduces the characters & specially develop them to leave an impression in audiences mind; is worth praising.  The storytelling isnt linear either. It jumps to various times and connects various dots to make the journey more enjoyable.  The story didnt have the only action. The way it kept the suspense, mystery and conspiracy twists, made the movie a delight to watch. The story was quite unpredictable most of the times.  Greatest stories, you will find a great antagonist to present a real challenge to the protagonist. And KGF 2 has quite a few antagonists, to match our protagonists grandeur.  Every major character played their roles beautifully. Most of the characters are unknown to us, cant remember seeing them in movies weve watched in the past.  Yash was incredible, the best performance of his career so far,  I guess. In most of the Yash movies weve watched earlier, even when he was an action hero, he had some chocolate boy image. But in  KGF 2, Yashs character was rugged, tough, masculine and fearless. Not for a second, his ‘one-man army impression felt unreal and impractical.  And yes, like Bahubali this was KGF 2 & will have a sequel. And perfectly it created enough suspense to make the audience eagerly wait for the sequel. This movie had some strange jumps into the future of the storyline. And that is smartly done to make the sequel more anticipating.  It would not be fair comparing this film with Bahubali, as both films are of different genres. But personally,  we liked Chapter 2 of KGF better than Chapter 1 of Bahubali.  And if we compare it with recent high budget movies like Zero or 2. 0, KGF 2 is way ahead in the game as a really good movie. Hope audience support this movie more than the Star cast movies.

TL;DR I think people think of computer technicians as annoying nerds until they need them to fix their computer. Many times I have thought this. People can't use computers, either. My social studies teachers computer shuts off. I was watching the screen at the time. We all were. It was connected to the projector. We were watching some YouTube video on George Washington when it shut off. She looks at the screen, then the computer, then back to the screen. She bends down, pushes the power button. The computer doesn't turn on. She presses the power button again. Still doesn't respond. “Reese? ” She said. Under normal circumstances if the operating system crashed, it would have restarted, so I know it wasn't a BSOD. I first look to see if it's plugged in properly into the wall socket. It is, so I then look at the computer itself. The power cord is loose, but still in it far enough. I notice, though that it is dusty. When I grab the power cord, it makes a hissing sound, then sparks. I take the plug out, blow hard on the plug. I plug it back in. When it's in, it starts right up. She immediately sits in her chair and waits for the computer to finish booting. She's happy. She can't use a computer. When I'm not fixing her computer, I'm sure she thinks of me as just another annoying student. My grandmother had a cheap Toshiba sitting on a desk for a month before mentioning that it had a virus to me. She puts it in my hands expectantly. I plug it in, and boot it up. The Windows 7 symbol comes up, then the blue spinning circle. I wait, and notice the fans kick up high. I touch the bottom, and am surprised at how hot it is. She doesnt answer me, and she has this confused look on her face. I then use her other laptop to download an image of 10, put it on a USB stick, boot from it, and install. I hand her the laptop back to her. She puts it back on the desk, plugging it in. Shes happy. I respect my grandmother, but she needs to be careful. She shops online all the time. My father sits in a LA-Z-Boy, on the phone with AT&T. He just got a router/modem combo, and the Wi-Fi connection plummets when a new device connects. I know I can tell if someone is scamming me. This person was trying to sell me a computer with a Pentium 4, saying it was an Intel i7. Said it had an SSD in it. I went along with it until he asked for 200 for it. I then pointed out everything wrong with it just by looking at it. 3 out of four screws in for the heatsink. I guess it all started with a cheap eMachines. It had a 2. 6 GHz Quad Core processor, with two gigabytes of RAM. It originally ran Windows 7. But when the free Windows 10 update came, I didn't think it would handle it too well. As it was, it was paging terribly. I put 400 into it. Put in a 500GB SSD into it, 8 gigabytes of RAM. I left the processor because I thought it didnt need it. I then put that computer on the shelf and got an Optiplex 780, minitower. Then upgraded, and put that one on the shelf. My mother knows nothing about technology. She thinks shes some cool cat because she knows how to go on Facebook on her phone. I remember we had just gotten a Roku stick for Christmas. I had been hoping shed have my two step sisters set it up to the TV. No such luck. She presses it into my my hands and tells me to set it up. I took one look at it, then told her the other two HDMI ports on our TV was broken. She just waves me away. I laugh, then plug it into one of the broken HDMI ports. She waits for something to show up on the screen. When nothing shows up, she tells me to do something. I unplug the third HDMI, plug the Roku into it, and the OOBE screen shows up. I then take care of the Roku box. As I do this, I hear my stepmother click around with the cable box remote. She sighs, frustrated. As Im waiting for the computer to finish booting, I think of the damage that was done by the fan not spinning. I ask the person how long the computer had displayed the message. “Oh, about a full year. I have never thought much of it... ” I glance up to see if hes serious, and he is. I wonder why its just me who wondered how Bluetooth works. Why the 2. 4GHz and 5GHz wifi network is so different. None of these kids even know what “wifi” means. Wait, let me rephrase that. They know “wifi” means “YouTube! SnapChat? Insta, definitely. ” Ive built many computers, and its always me who stares at the beauty of it. Of the power you can put together for a few hundred bucks. I posted some of this on Reddit, and the people who read it and commented said I had some issues with communications. I admit, I get exasperated when its as simple as looking it on Google. Theyd be saving up to 100 for people looking at it. I mean, I get that you dont trust yourself for soldering or ordering the right processor or finding out if a DIMM or SODIMM is DDR2 or DDR3, or if its non-ECC. But if its something like a Stop 7B error on Windows 7, you can fix it yourself. It nauseates me when someone says their computers are the fastest because “they have 16GB of RAM”. I once had someone bring in a budget HP desktop, claiming it beeped at him when he turned on and freezes. I asked him what he thought was the issue was(he was the type of person who knew his way around the motherboard. He wasnt really the troubleshooting type. He said he thinks the CPU is overheating. I tell him its a possibility. I open it up, turn it on with just the monitor. I watch the monitor while having my hand near the exhaust fan. Its not overheating in the least. I told him its not overheating, it might have been a bad start. I plug in everything, and boot it up. Immediately it beeps non-stop. I unplug the keyboard, and it reboots and POSTs fine. I laugh, then get a spare keyboard, plug it in, and it boots without beeping. He also asks me if he has any DDR RAM, and if I do, can I put in the computer for him. My eyes widen, then tell him that the computer uses DDR3 RAM, not DDR1. I explain that DDR1 was used in older computers. He sighs, exasperated because Im just the annoying technician. I remember asking the IT technicians at school if they were A+ certified. Most of them were not. I understand most people dont need it to get a job. But I like the idea of a paper having my back if someone decides they want someone who is certified over someone who is not. I asked one of the people who was certified if they had any recommendations when I go in for the test. I think they thought I was joking around. I never got any recommendations. When I came into high school, I was happy there was a computer teacher. He taught “PC Repair and Maintenance. ” During my lunch, I went there every day. I had him quiz me. I got about 98% of the questions right. I then decided to quiz him. I asked him questions a little harder then he asked me. One of the ones I asked him was” How many addresses does a Class C Network have? ” He answered that one okay. I then asked him “What is Hyper-V? ” He thinks about it for a minute, but he cant remember. Even the people who teach this stuff dont know what some of the stuff they have is. I used to watch YouTube videos on computers, and troubleshooting them. I only watched one in particular. All the others were just too annoying to deal with. All the while my friends just sat there and played video games and not caring about what they plan to do. I remember typing up a document for English class, and I was typing as fast as I could without making mistakes, which would have been around 70-80 WPM. The person next to me watched my hands, then the screen. Then said I typed fast. “Thanks, ” I replied distractedly. “Can you teach me how to type that fast? ” he asked. I pause, then look over. “Its not something I can just teach you. It takes time. I only type this fast when I dont think. Do you look at the keyboard? ” He nods his head, I tell him not to. Practice in the dark. Its how I learned. I watch some of these kids at my school use some laptops. I watch as they walk around with them booting up. I wince as I think of the damage done the hard drives platter by the servometer. I had gotten a Dell Latitude e6430, i5 series. I had thought it was a decent laptop. I had gotten an SSD for it. It had 8GB DDR3 RAM, upgradeable to 16GB. It came with Windows 10, but I dual-booted Peppermint OS. I used it for a month, but I needed some space, and I had dedicated 80GB to Peppermint. I deleted the partition, downloaded what I needed, used it, then shut down the computer. As soon as I saw the “Shutting Down” in Windows, I knew what I forgot to do. I forgot to rewrite the MBR and Boot code. Luckily, I had a Windows 10 installation disc, and booted up to that. I got to a command prompt, and fixed everything. Someone who didnt know how to fix that would have reinstalled the OS. The only reason I had Windows 10 was because I played a game when I had some free time on my hands. Other than that, it was pretty vacant. I watch some of these kids at high school. Sure enough, they have headphones in. I listen to some of the music they listen to(because their music is way too loud) and I just shake my head. They listen to rap, and I do too, but fast rap. When some song isnt fast enough, I speed it up. I type along with it, trying to improve my speed. Eminems Rap God? Typed that whole thing, following along. Tech Nine? I find his fastest songs, and type should try it. Not only do you have to type it, you have to understand it. Try to keep in sync with it. Why is it only my who cares about this stuff? Kids just meander around. They have headphones in, heads down, on their phones. It bothers me so much. I think you should always be aware of your surroundings. Never let your guard down. You never know what someone's intentions are. Someone on the side of the street could ask you for directions, and while you're thinking "Oh, maybe he's a nice guy. I'll give him directions" he's going to throat-punch you. While you're gasping for air, this guy is going through your pockets. My whole English class came into a room full of computers. I was trying to do what I was told to do, when I kept getting called. Fans werent working, so the computers would shut down, printer wouldnt work, the classic “I cant connect to the Internet”. Like, holy Christ, leave me alone… All I do is run after people, trying to tell them whats wrong with their computer. My grandfather was kind of computer enough to really know what he was saying, though. Im listening to him, and all I can think is “ Wow, this guy doesnt even know what hes talking about”. He uses ZoneAlarm for an AV, and I asked him why. He looks at me, then tells me because its the number one AV. I shake my head, then describe to him how some applications are able to pass through an AV. He sighs, then tells me I dont know what Im talking about, and goes back to his computer. Hes dishing out 40 for a piece of shit AV that even I could write something to get through. I hand out computers for one of my classes so they didnt choose a broken laptop that I didnt get to yet. I watch one person open her computer, then wait. I look at the screen and I see the splash screen, then I look away, continuing to hand out laptops. I hear a loud pop, and I look up. She slammed the screen down, then opened it back up. Still frozen. It didnt even shut down. She slams it down again, opens it again, then slams it back down for the last time. She gets up and brings the laptop to me. “Its broken, ” she says, expectantly. “Open it, ” I tell does, then I tell her to hold the power button or take out the battery. She holds the button, the laptop shutting off. “Now turn it on. ” It boots successfully, and she walks away, without saying thank you. Im always underestimated, and overlooked. I had asked my teacher if she wanted me to take a look at a large stack of laptops(all of them on one another, and there was about 20, one single stack. She said no, there was some that were looked at and they she couldnt do anything with them without CIC taking a look at them. Fuck CIC, I think, as I walk over to the pile. I see a blue sticky note, and I read it. “ Wont work. ” I look a little below that I see something else written. “ I figured out why! The hard drive is missing. ” He signed his name, like he was proud he figured it out. I look at the laptop, near the bottom. I see the hard drive symbol, then look for screws. I find them, and what do I find? The hard drive. I take the laptop, and start it up. LEDs flash, but no splash screen. I notice the battery LED is flashing. I hold the power button, then take the battery out. I plug the laptop in, and it starts. Mindblowing, the hard drive is missing, but Windows still loads. For those people who call me an egotistical prick, I have a reason to be egotistical. I have worked hard to learn what I know now, and I will continue to learn. I guess I feel safer behind a keyboard. Its now to the point when I dont want to deal with people at all. My friend called me down as I was walking to my class, and I stopped over. “Whats up? ” I ask, curios. He seems panicked, and he has this stressed look on his face. “My older computer wont boot up. I dont know what to do. Ive checked the RAM, CPU, GPU, everything. ” “Okay, okay, calm down. What happens? ” He walks me over to the computer, and presses the power thing happens at all. I know immediately what is the matter. I unplug the computer, wait for all power to leak out, then proceed to jump the PSU with a paperclip. The guy stops me, then tells me that its his only PSU, and its unique to the motherboard. He tells me that theres an 8-pin CPU power cord, and he cant find another PSU with that cord. I tell him to just let me do my thing. I go back to the PSU, and stick the clip in the green wire and black wire. I plug the PSU back into AC power, and the PSU starts up. My friend watches in awe as the computer starts without the power button being pressed. My friend goes to touch the paper clip still in the motherboard plug. I smack his hand and tell him not to do that. He does it anyways. I guess he wont do that again. A little while later, I found out the computer repair teacher told the kid to get me. I asked the teacher why he asked me when he could have done it. He said he wanted to see if I could figure it out. “Bullshit, ” I said. “You didnt want to be shown up by me. Dont be getting up on your high horse. You know I can do that. ” This same teacher told me I was in the middle of his “advanced class. ” I was shocked there was something more advanced than the little kiddie class I was walking into. The next time I went to his class, I made sure the advanced class was in session. They were in the middle of discussing the difference of three VMs on an i5 vs an i7. I look at the computers they were using, and all of them had dust in the front bezel. I took a look at some of the papers they had done, and it was on networking. I glance at the first question: Which of the following answers refers to a system containing mappings of domain names to various types of data, such as for example numerical IP addresses? this was copied from the internet and pasted on the paper, in case you couldnt tell) The kid answered this: SQL I stopped reading, looked at the kid who answered. He had a laptop halfway apart, prying at the processor pipe with a flathead, making scratches in the motherboard, trying to get it up and off the motherboard. I smirk, then leave without telling him hes doing it wrong. I know Im more advanced than that class. I could go on and on about the prick who teaches the class. The teacher has a few “class pets. ” People who he thinks they know what theyre doing. I met all of them when I was walking in there every day. I watched as a girl was replacing a HDD. She got it all set, plugged in the computer, and started to reinstall Windows 7. She then finds something sticking up out of the case, and grabs a hammer, and hammers away at the case. I shake in horror as the plastic breaks. She then picks up the computer, and slams it back down somewhere else on the table. The installation errors out, and the girl forces a new installation disc in the ODD. I stop watching, and ask her if she wants me to help her. “No, fucker, this is my project and mine only. Go find someone elses stuff to destroy. ” I refuse to be one of the teachers class pets. Not only is that promising being around shitheads who dont know what theyre doing, they will also try to “fix” your computer. Found that one out the hard way. Had a water cooled gaming computer(for a customer, not me) and it was all built, I just let it sit there for a moment as I was going to overclock. I stepped out of the room for a moment. Some asshole moved one tube, and it wasnt on all the way. Not knowing, I turned on the computer. Thats the last time Ill bring something worth 200 or more into that room. Lucky for them, they didnt have to pick up the 900 bill it cost. Im also looked at with hate. Before I went into that classroom when high school first began, I made damn sure I could answer every networking/CompTIA A+ quiz I could find. I thought thered be some of the quickest IT technicians in that room, and I wanted to be up there with them. I thought thered be no room for slow people who had to pause and think about what they were doing. I was so wrong. Almost all of those kids didnt even know what IT meant. Im leaning on the wall outside of the class, on a laptop that was in for RAM upgrade. I hear the door open, and I look. This 17 year old was walking out with a group of other 17 year olds. I look back down at the laptop I was fixing. “This isnt a place where you want to hang out. Go to your classroom. ” The first kid spoke. I look up and say, “This is my class. And youre right. It isnt for people to hang out here. Its for people who actually can fix computers without being annoyed by pricks like you. ”(It wasnt my class. I never took that class, as its like a scratched disc, and they just repeat everything over and over) His buddies gasp, and I grin as the guys mouth drops open. “Ill get the teacher. You shouldnt be out here” I think, then say “Okay. Go ahead. You know what? Fuck it. Ill help you get him. ” I walk past them, and get the teacher. I tell the teacher the guy wanted to talk to him. I finish the laptop, and put it away in my back. When Im done doing that, the teacher is walking to me. Mind you, Im not on this guys nice list. “You need to get out of this classroom. That is not the right way to talk to someone. ” Later that day the kid sees me walking down a flight of stairs, on the opposite side. He yells ‘Get on the right side! ” Everyone moves to the right. I dont because I will not be told what to do by him. He pushed me out of the way as he walks up the stairs. I stumble, but I dont fall. I then hurry around the corner, wait, then follow him. He walks to a teacher. He gets a handful of Chromebooks, and tells the teacher that his laptop was “awaiting parts. ” He told the computer teacher that 3 months ago. I step away from my hiding place and walk to him. “You told the teacher that 3 months ago. Where are these parts coming from, huh? China? And whose pocket is it coming out of? Most certainly not yours as you dont work. I know! Its coming out of your parents pockets. Dont lie to people. I know you cant fix that laptop. Thats why you failed the test a week ago. ” I talked to the teacher about that the next day. I was told he was the most “professional” person he had, so he couldnt do much. “So, swearing at people is professional? ” The teacher made a point that the kid was his best. “Dude, you have no idea what that kid does. You think just because he can talk to customers, hes the best? I heard him talk to a customer. He kept going about how a SSD is different from a HDD. The person couldnt get a word in edgewise. ” I could tell this was a losing fight. Whos going to win? The 14-year old or the 45-year old? “Look, Im honestly surprised you remember my name. Just tell the kid to leave me the hell alone. ” I had asked a kid if he wanted to trade a 240GB SSD for two 120GB SSDs. I had put the 240GB in my school laptop( Lenovo IdeaPad Z565, bought recently after I fixed my neighbors. The kid was cool with it. He then asks, “Can I give you one SSD and one 500GB HDD? ” I dont think he quite got the point that I didnt need that much space, and only put HDDs in my PCs for long term storage and, even then, I have it plugged into a SATA-to-USB. All of us kids used to play a game. Once a month wed participate in a game where wed show off the fastest computer weve built. I, of course, had to compare my skills to others. The was only two rule: You have to have Windows 10 installed, and you have to boot it up when testing. And it just wasnt booting time that we tested. Benchmarking your processor, too. So youd have to know how to overclock well. Youd have to have decent cooling power. Here I come with 900-1300 builds every month. Who do you think won every time? I stopped participating after 3 times I won. The reward? We had to buy the winner a drink during lunch. I never took the drink. When they handed it to me, I pushed it back and told them what to improve. All of those kids in that class are absolute dickbags to people like me. Individuals who are ahead of that class, and learning something different like pentesting and networking. They walk around like their balls are too big for their pants because they have an RGB computer with AI overclocking, then say they did the overclocking. I asked a kid what his voltage was for an Intel Core i5, and he has to go into his BIOS to look. I then tell him to lower it down a little because its maxing out at 87C, and his processor has a T Junction of 92C. He looks at me, then goes to the keyboard. He pauses, then says “Ill be honest. I just used AI overclocking. ” They dont understand encryption keys. They dont understand torrenting. They dont understand risks of torrenting when I told them. Its sickening. They can identify a YouTube symbol, but they cant identify a programming language by a few lines or identify a hard drive. I told some of the people I dont use Windows on my computers. I told them I use BunsenLabs, and it runs almost like Debian. They had no idea why I went with a Linux installation. I showed them on a projector what it looked like and what it ran like on a HDD with 1GB of RAM(it was just a piece of junk awaiting upgrades. They were shocked that it ran so smoothly. I think I know what youre thinking. “ Hes just a 14 year old prick that thinks he can fix a computer because hes on it all the time. He has quite the attitude, and he needs some help. ” I am not on a computer all the time. Remember how I said my father didnt want me to do this stuff? Well, he meant it. Nothing with wireless functions(his words, not mine) and nothing with wires. As for my attitude? YOLO. My father used to have to pay 100 out of pocket to have a babysitter for me when I was in elementary school. All the while he was working his ass off to pay for the trailer we were in(in a trailer park. He had to choose between paying the electricity bill or getting food. He had to make something to eat out of peanut butter and Saltines, because that was all there was in the house. My father and I had to spend at least 4 hours a day getting the rims out of tires to scrap them. We had to go out at 3 in the morning everyday to get gas for the generator because the lights were out. I will not go back to that. I make damn sure I always have at least 10 cash on me. All these kids talk like they have such a hard life. “ Oh, my mom made me fold my own laundry. I had to pick up my room. My father made me work in the garage with him. He also told me I had to get off Xbox. ” These kids should be lucky they have their mom. They should be lucky they have a tight relationship with their father. The only thing my father and I have in common is that we made it through some rough some stuff. Theyre coddled their entire life, while Im here fighting for what I want to do when Im older. I hate to rely on anyone for anything. I try to chip in some money with my father, but I cant give too much as I dont want him to know I get paid for what I do(no, I dont “work. I hate to look up to someone. I never looked up to anyone when doing this. Not even Bill Gates. This person told me he could fix any computer, no matter the issue. I told him he couldnt, because he couldnt even answer me the voltages that a PSU runs at. Sure, it wasnt really enough to see if he could fix computers, but he didnt even know what PSU meant. “Alright”, I say, grabbing DDR3 RAM. “Is this DDR3 or DDR4? ” He squint at the stick, then says “Neither. DDR5. ” I shake my head at him, then motion him to follow me. I tell him to turn around, then I open an older HP computer. I yank the HDD out, then rip all the RAM out. I then take out the GPU, and disconnect the motherboard power cord. I tell him to see what he can do. He pours over the computer, and looks. After about a minute, he turns around and says “Hard drive is missing. Other than that, nothing is the matter. ” I grin, then tell him to turn it on. I first tell him to plug the HDD in so he doesnt fry the PSU. He just waved me off, but does so anyways. He presses the power button, and nothing happens. “Well, Mr. IT professional, whats the matter? ” He looks at me, then sneers and says” You dont even know whats the matter. You just took me to this computer to have me fix it because you cant. ” I look at the floor, thinking, then say, “Alright. Answer this: Lets say you have a Windows installation, and a Linux installation right next to it. Its in an Ubuntu server. You have a Linux on the Windows half, and a Windows on the linux half. Change the passwords to something you dont know. I guess you could have a USB stick, but only 4GB. QuickBooks is installed on Windows, with no known password. Wiping Quickbooks is futile and suicidal, and you fail immediately. Now break in, reset the passwords from the Registry. Repartition the drive to get rid of Linux. Enable Hyper-V. Set up a VM as a firewall/router with ShoreWall, set up another VM as lamp with Wordpress or Joomla, Set up one as a Samba Fileserver with Node-Red. Set one VM with asterisk and configure Trunk and one extension. You have 4 network cards and one cisco switch. Partition machines and switch into virtual network for Lamp, one VLAN for phones, one VLAN for Filesharing and automation. Insure no traffic crosses between. Also set up a vpn to the fileserver network with openvpn. Firewall port 5060 udp to allow only traffic to ISP. All subnets must be within 192. 168. 0. 0/24 and set up as a /28. I have a few that are just beasts locked in a cage, and no one else is happy to see a computer that still has a floppy drive cage capable of running Windows 10 with 4 power hungry applications all the time. Im now to the point where I can get a computer started with nothing other than a thin little piece of metal. And no, I dont mean jumping the PSU. I never had a friend that knew how much I know, and I sure wasnt going to help someone who didnt care. Ive tried teaching one person, and he just wasnt cooperating. My user name on Reddit was “RookieOfTheYear04”, and most people thought just because I was born in 04, I was just another kid trying to fix computers. Twice, I had to argue with people. Here: The last picture? They were saying “good job” for a kid turning his wrist 4 degrees with a pair of tweezers to pry some pins on a processor. I never had that. “Youre going places! ” Why? Because he had patience to bend all of the pins back? I was told I was going places, and those places werent places you wanted to be. This one, this person was fretting over an SD card. It wouldnt format, and they thought technology was stupid. I forgot one word: Diskpart. I never really had a friend to just… talk to normally. I mean, I never had a friend that knew as much as I do. I dont mean to sound like a snob. Whenever I think I might have a friend, they go and do something stupid. Something that wouldnt happen if they actually paid attention. I dont really have friends, actually. People just see me as a acne-riddled slob that does nothing but sit in a chair. I mean, Ive only been complimented once in school for what I did for someone. “He did it faster than I expected. ” Other than that, Im just a target for jokes. “Look at the fag over there! Wonder where his stupid laptop is? ” “Maybe he just says he fixes computers to look smart and to get attention. ” Fuck that. I asked the kid what his issue was. “Forgot to wash your letterman jacket? ” I feel like a total badass when I overclock or am telling people about all the bad shit I did with my schools CIC. Speaking of CIC, they dont really prepare for the 7th, I learned how to overclock. In 8th grade, I cleared admin password in the BIOS, and installed Windows 10 on a seperate drive. In 9th, I figured out how to install apps, despite the fact they had admin privileges blocked. Figured out how to run scripts to disable/enable certain things. When I pointed all this out to CIC, they just looked at me like I was bullshitting them. I shrugged, walked out to the library, hopped on one of the computers that the school owned, opened Command Prompt(this was blocked as well. Read above) then typed shutdown-i. Before I shut everything down, I made sure to write a script to repeat the command every 15 minutes. I just want to be recognized for how well I can do this, despite my age. I was told what I can do isnt that cool. I was told if I was writing exceptional code, itd be different. Do you know kids(10-14) that can correctly block/disable stuff with Group Policy settings? Do you know any kids who can program by themselves for a robot that no one gives a shit about? Do you know any kids who have the balls to go along with Windows Support scams on a physical computer, and not worry about the other computers on the network? Im not saying I want everyone to think Im a hero for what I do. Id just like to know that Im doing the right thing. When I was in elementary school, I was just learning(4-5th grade. In middle school, I tried to prove myself many times. To teachers. To CIC. To kids. Im sick of feeling like I have to prove myself to people. I have to dumb down my vocabulary when talking to kids in the “PC Repair and Maintenance”. I helped my neighbor with her computer (Lenovo Ideapad Z565. She said it was slow, and some files were disappearing every time she turned the laptop on. I looked at the laptop, opened it up, and it was full of dust. Which was to be expected, as she used the laptop in her lap. As Im doing this, I see a computer that was obviously built. I asked her who built that. She said her son did. I asked her if he helped her with the laptop. She said no, she didnt want to make him mad by bothering him. I pause, then quickly put the laptop back together. The next time I went over to my neighbors house, I bought a Sony VAIO laptop with me. It was blue, and she liked the color. I put an SSD in for her, installed Windows, activated it, put all of her files (even the ones gone from the failing HDD) on her new laptop. I then ask her if I can talk to her son. She said yes, and pointed me to his room. I walk in the room, and I see him in a chair with chips and cans of soda on the desk. The room is a mess, smells like alcohol but thats not important. His mother is gone at this point. He spun around in a chair. “What the fuck do you want? ” I didnt hesitate when he said this. “First of all, dont be getting pissy with me. I just saved your mother about 200 to spend on your lazy ass. Why didnt you fix her laptop? ” I know this wasnt the right attitude for an IT technician, but this kid was just begging to be made fun of. Not that Id do that, as I know what its like. “Because I dont have time. ” I shake my head. “Its literally 10 minutes of your time. Just ten minutes. ” I think back to the computer that I saw earlier. “Did you even build that computer in the living room, or did you have someone do it for you? ” I guess he found someone to build it. Many times I have thought about learning about a new industry. Through being put down many times to be second guessed by my own parents, it becomes a lot. Why is something so simple so hard to deal with? I would only use linux when it came to OSs. Not to put myself out from other people. It was just because I like the idea of a challenge when it comes to computers. I used Ubuntu/Peppermint(for when I needed a decent OS to boot up in a decent amount of time. Programming? Not a problem with me. I make sure I can fluently speak C+ C, JavaScript, and HTML. Some Python, but Im in the process of learning that right now. You may imagine I got what I deserved. I'm not here to be judged but. I have some spoilers and If you don't want to know about the final episode. this is your last warning to stop reading. Also, going to be very clear on this but I'm not going to mention the show's name for legal reasons. I think you know what show I am talking about but. I can't risk more people finding the episode. Not like this, but it is almost futile to assume no one will try. It's the tv show. That tv show millions of people have been first episode of the last season is coming out this weekend. Marketing campaigns across the globe catering to a rabid and hungry fandom. I was so rabid I couldn't help myself and I started to look for a way to get ahead of everyone. There had been threats of course with the season before and hackers had held the episodes hostage. I knew someone had access somewhere. Clicking through an assortment of the dingiest websites with sleazy banner ad after banner ad I couldn't turn up anything yet until I found one comment tucked away under a video which had already been removed for a copyright claim. “Find Me. ” In websites constantly advertising get rich quick schemes and masterclasses in dating I felt a slight twinge of suspicion. wasn't like this is the dark web. I didn't think I was some noob who could be scammed. I gave up my credit card details to this mysterious user (never do this, not joking how stupid it is to do this) and they gave me a decryption key and a link to the torrent. As it slowly downloaded I felt a pump of adrenaline. After so many years following the show, I was finally going to get to the end. It downloaded a little too quickly and when I opened the video my computer gave me a warning. “Are you sure you want to open this on your computer? This unauthorized file may contain programs which may be harmful to your device. ” I scanned it but zero threats came up so I clicked open again, my hand shaking on the mouse. “Are You Sure You are Sure About this? ” It prompted me again. Are you sure you are sure? This wording made me wonder if I really was tricked into buying a computer virus into my PC but I clicked again. “You know nothing” There was the sound of static before the show's theme montage lit up on my computer. I swear my pupil's widened at the sight. It couldn't have been this easy, could it? I felt a slight pang of guilt but kept my eyes glued to the screen drinking in the theme song which was so addictive I even hummed it on the bus and in the shower. You can hear it too if you know what I mean and how willing I was to finally finish this. And then suddenly my computer crashed. Or at least I thought I did until a single title card popped up: “From our cast and crew, we dedicate this to you, those who have been here since the beginning. For the fans! ” and then it resumed. I breathed a sigh of relief. I was touched that they had actually put that in. They didn't have to, but I blushed at the idea that they put this in. The episode began with howling wind and snow blowing. Subtitles appeared at the bottom of the screen but I couldn't understand them whatever language they were. Some form of east European or Cyrillic by the shape I assumed. The Main Hero's friend, the one with an affinity for books was crawling through the snow as ghoulish figures followed him slowly. He left a long trail of red as they closed in and began stabbing him. Again and again. It kept going for at least five minutes. This show as you may already know had a certain violent reputation but five minutes of stabbing odd. Consider how quick it is when a character is killed on screen mething seemed wrong with this footage. Again and again and again and again. The scene changed with sad mournful music as the army gathered before the gates as the enemy forces swarmed towards them just before the Hero raised their blade, suddenly the camera cut back to his friend being stabbed again and again alone in the woods by the group of masked figures. These were not the usual bad guys they had never turned up they had appeared a few episodes ago and even then they were not in the trailers online. Another ten minutes of him being stabbed. I couldn't believe it. If it wasn't the for the actual actor or the camera quality clearly this wouldn't have been the show and I would have thought this was it was there playing on my computer screen. I almost skipped ahead but thankfully it cut to the great library. Last time I saw this other guy in the library he couldn't walk and the Hero's friend who I just saw was being stabbed in the woods was on his way to tell the hero the truth this guy told him. He tears a single page from the book they learned the secret from, he crumples it up and he swallows it whole. He then pulls out a vial from his robes, empties the powder from it into a wine glass and drinks it in one sip drinking the poison with it. My jaw drops. I knew there would be some a lot of twists but. I never imagined this would happen. He falls face first and dies with his head slumped over the book. The next scene is a tower overlooking a graveyard. The tough lady knight is pushed from behind out the window before falling to her death. A figure emerges from the shadows laughing and I see it was the bad guy who was killed at the end of the season before. It was a major twist because he had double-crossed nearly everyone up until that point but here he is laughing before finally. he winks. He actually stopped and winked straight at me. A chill runs down my spine. I click pause and pull the scroll bar back a few seconds. This time he doesn't wink but he is staring straight at the camera as if I did something forbidden. There is a tense silence kind of like he is waiting for me to apologize. Suddenly there is a bang. The scene has changed to a ship out at sea firing a cannon during heavy rain except I am so startled by such a loud noise after having the character look at me like that I jump up in my seat. The ship bobs up and down in the stormy sea before the camera pans back to the Hero's friend who was killed in the forest. The figures are all gone and his body is being picked apart by crows. The sad music plays again and the scene transitions to the great pyramids in the eastern lands. A monk looks up from his scroll to speak to the queen. “It's the there is nothing you can do” The Queen looks directly into the camera at me. Her beautiful face begins to rot away before my eyes. And hellish it is because scenes start playing out which happened but are happening differently. The blacksmith who spent a few seasons they sent to call for help when the group needs him the stead of finding the queen and her coming back to save the day he trips over in the wilderness and he dies there alone in the snow. The man who was kept a prisoner in an earlier season is shown dead in his chains. The woman he would have gone on to rescue is shown being poked with hot irons as hunting dogs bark in the background. On and on and on and on I am shown the most barbaric slaughter imaginable and it just doesn't make sense anymore who is killing who or how they are dying anymore. I heard rumors the producers were filming fake endings to mess with the way this whole thing happened it all seemed almost too vivid. If this was the case, then they spent millions on making a whole episode which was pretty much a snuff film and by mentioning this version of the finale you would be marked as either crazy or with contempt by the fandom. Every character is shown dead including ones who already were dead and buried long before this episode and they were being dumped into a massive fiery pit out on a snow-covered battlefield. Finally, it cuts back to the end of the first season, the scene where the main hero at the time is about to be executed and instead of being killed creating the most epic twist in television history: he moves out of the way of the axe which is swung down. It misses his head and he looks straight at me. He isn't laughing or being sinister but simply he looks disappointed. “Why did you fail us like that? ” The axe is swung again a final time straight into his neck. I believe the appropriate amount of time has passed for me to reflect on building my first computer, so I will number some tips/mistakes that I made while building this computer as a complete noob, and hopefully save some others not computer savvy people some trouble. Choosing your pc parts. The first thing I would recommend is figuring out your budget. When I first started building my PC, I had no idea about what was going on with GPU prices. I was looking at all these parts that would go well with one of the really high-end NVidia cards (1070, 1080. When I looked at GPU's, I was flabbergasted and realized that I had to go for a middle-end GPU instead. Look at all potential parts for your level of build (low-end, mid, high-end) and compute a rough estimate of what you can afford within your budget. PCPartpicker is a great tool that many people use to add up the costs of their parts and see the resulting price when parts are switched out. 2) Don't be afraid to reach out and ask for advice on decisions. Since presumably you don't know a lot about parts if it is your first time, I would consult someone (maybe a subreddit) to figure out COMPATIBILITY. The last thing you want to do is pick out parts that aren't compatible. I nearly bought a motherboard that would not have fit my CPU. The return process can be tiresome and long. Additionally, ask about the balance of your parts for what you are trying to accomplish, but also know what you want. I was told building my pc that I went too high end on the CPU and the RAM, and not high enough on GPU. But I knew I wanted to do some twitch streaming, and understood that you need good CPU and RAM power to do the multi-tasking that streaming requires. Additionally, the option I chose was to buy a cheaper GPU now (since prices are ridiculous) and get a more expensive GPU when prices calm down. These are the kind of compromises you should consider when taking people's advice. 3) You don't have to be a rocket scientist to put the computer together. There are 2 things I would largely recommend having when you go to build your pc: The motherboard manual and the case manual. Luckily for me, once I had all the parts I was able to build the computer with just these two instruction manuals. Before you run your pc, I would recommend posting a picture and asking if everything looks all right. You don't want to hurt the pc by booting it when things are plugged into the wrong places, or wires are in the way of fans. When I booted my PC for the first time, I had plugged the case fan into the cpu fan and the cpu fan into the case fan. Luckily this meant that the fans just didn't turn on, but you should probably post a picture to make sure you didn't make any major mistakes. Another mistake I made was dropping my iPhone cable into the case on accident. Needless to say, the cpu fan chopped it in half instantly. Another thing I would recommend is to put as much on the motherboard as you can before you put it into the case. Attaching the CPU and its cooler is a lot easier when the motherboard is exposed and not in the case. 4) Don't assume something is broken until you consult someone else about it. Call me a noob, but I didn't know that the gpu fan only spins when the system is hot. I spent hours freaking out that I had gotten a defective gpu, I think I even called the company and was pretty embarrassing. Additionally, I was like 99% sure that my hard drive did not fit into my case. Don't be afraid to use a little force with that bitch. It will fit nice and snug if you add some pressure to it. 5) Know that you need an operating system to boot up. Another mistake I made? I thought the computer would just boot up without windows. Sat there staring at error messages for quite a while. Here is a little cheat if you don't want to pay for windows right away. Just get another computer (I used my laptop) and download windows onto a USB. You should be able to use that to boot into a free version of windows (not customizable) until you are ready to upgrade to the paid version. Or, in my case, be a cheapo and just use the free version. 6) If you ever move your pc distances, take the important parts (GPU) out. I go to The Ohio State, so when I built my computer over break I had to fly it back to school. I put it in a suitcase and padded it with sweatpants and sweatshirts. I thought it would be fine, but it must have gotten rattled and the GPU was knocked loose. When I got back to school, the GPU fan was ACTUALLY broken this time. I tried fixing it myself until I saw the (WARRANTY VOIDED IF REMOVED) sticker. Yeah, no thanks. When they refunded me the MSI GPU, they were out of stock on Amazon. I just bought the Gigabyte version and haven't had a problem since. Lesson learned; always remove the gpu when transporting your pc. 7) Try to avoid going cheap on the peripherals. I bought a gaming mouse, a headset, and an HD webcam. But if you only buy half the peripherals, it won't really be as satisfying as having a whole new system. Playing on a gaming mouse, gaming setup, and then having a shit multimedia keyboard from 2006 and a tiny mousepad is such a buzzkill. Honestly, just buy the peripherals. Just do it. It's worth it. 8) Enjoy the process while you are doing it. Post-computer build depression is real. Maybe even more real than the depression you feel after finishing a legendary tv show like death note or breaking bad. Maybe even more depressing than that feeling when you miss Bob Ross. Take your time, enjoy building it, soak it all in, because once your done, even though you have a sweet new system you still feel kinda shitty. 9) Download some good programs you need to benefit your computer. A good VPN is always good, especially if you are using popcorn time and don't want to get your internet shut off by your ISP (true story btw. If you do plan to do something like torrent streaming, I would highly recommend getting a VPN with a kill switch. This stops your IP address from being leaked if you lose connection to your VPN. Private Internet Access if my favorite VPN. Also, buy a computer monitor to monitor your clock speeds and temps, and fan speed. I recommend HW Monitor. It's free, it monitors everything you need, and the interface is extremely simple and easy to read. 10) I'm getting tired of writing this so this will be my last point. Look up recommended settings or ask about them. You can significantly improve your performance by going into either your NVidia or radeon settings and doing stuff like enabling g-sync or free sync, or putting more emphasis on certain programs so they run better. For example, if I make league of legends a high priority it will run with a higher fps and not lag as often. Okay yeah I'm done this is getting exhausting. One last thing, if you are satisfied with your computer don't feel the need to overclock it. I have gone about 6 months without overclocking and have run games like Destiny on max settings getting over 30fps. Not bad at all for a mid price system. I am only overclocking now because I want higher download speeds, so if any of you have advice for overclocking this system, help would be greatly appreciated.
